Pastor’s Welcome

Dear visitor,

Welcome to Heliopolis Community Church where the body of Christ from around the world comes together to worship our living Savior.  Whether you are just vacationing in Egypt or moving here to stay, we invite you to come to worship with us.

HCC is an international and interdenominational church.  On any given Friday there may be 20 to 25 different nationalities represented in our service.

Our goal is to make everyone feel comfortable as they come into God’s presence to worship.  Every time we meet, it reminds us of Revelation 7:9 which says that there were people…  “from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb.”  We truly lay aside all our differences and focus on what we have in common, the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Being in the crossroads of the Middle East, we are constantly welcoming newcomers, and saying good-bye to others. However long your stay is, we invite you to consider making HCC your church home in Egypt.

Our worship service starts at 9am on Friday mornings. Plan to stay a little extra time after the service, if you would like, and “hang out” in the garden for informal fellowship to get to know people of our church. We also have home groups which meet at various times during the week in different homes.

We trust that your time here in Egypt will be a blessing to each of you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us, we’d love to have you as part of our family!

Home Update

Heliopolis Community Church welcomes you. As an international, interdenominational, English language church, and all who are seeking to worship the Lord Jesus as their Savior are welcome.

Even though things are constantly changing around us, we are so thankful that our Good Shepherd, Jesus, is never changing. He promised to always be with us – always.

As a community church, we are blessed with many Bible based preachers, teachers and worship leaders. We also have children’s classes and a nursery organized by volunteers. And there is a vibrant youth group as well.
