His humor makes his teaching enjoyable, effective and memorable, helping husbands and wives remember these insights and immediately put them to work.”
On Saturday morning, February 18, the seminar will continue with 3 more sessions of the DVD.
Please see the bulletin for more information
Isaiah 43:18,19
18“ Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 7:00pm
HCC’s annual Christmas Eve Candle-light Service will begin at 8:00pm on December 24th. There will be Christmas carols, special music and Christmas meditations. As we remember Jesus’ birth, we rejoice in all the blessings and delight in how God has provided for all people by the power of His great love.
All are welcome to come and celebrate with us. We are especially happy to be able to share this wonderful time together. At Christmas time we celebrate Jesus’ first coming to earth – born to Mary as her Son. We also celebrate His coming into our hearts through our belief and rebirth. And we remember that “…God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Come and celebrate this everlasting life with us.
4th Friday of Advent – LOVE
HCC will celebrate Advent (meaning ‘coming’ or ‘arrival’) starating four weeks before Christmas. During this time, we prepare our hearts and minds to focus on our Lord Jesus Christ’s coming. In Advent we see a threefold coming of the Messiah:
1. A celebration of His first coming – born to Mary as her Son, Jesus.
2. Preparation for His second coming at the end of the world as judge.
3. Celebration of His coming into our hearts through rebirth.
All are welcome to come to our Friday Worship Services during Advent. The third Advent service will focus on the theme of the LOVE that God has given us.
3rd Friday of Advent – Jesus the prophet (The wise men’s gift of myrrh)
The four weeks of Advent are like a journey where we bring our gifts, ask God for discernment, and are prepared and ready to worship Christ at his birth.
HCC continues in our observance of Advent; meaning ‘coming’ or ‘arrival.’ During this time, we prepare our hearts and minds to focus on our Lord Jesus Christ’s coming. In Advent we see a threefold coming of the Messiah:

2. Preparation for His second coming at the end of the world as judge.
3. Celebration of His coming into our hearts through rebirth.
All are welcome to come to our Friday Worship Services during Advent. This week, the Third Advent service will focus on the theme of Jesus, the Prophet, as symbolized by the gift of myrrh the wise men brought to honor His birth.
